- Action thriller: black hawk down, the rock and jar head, these films inspire me because they are are packed full of military action, i like these films because it puts you in the battle, the sound and camera movements makes this feeling of the viewer being in the battle immense.
- Crime thriller: Saw 1- 6, law abiding citizen. these crime thrillers inspire me because they they create suspense when the viewer watches it, this suspense creates tension which can scare the viewer and even cause a build up of adrenalin.
- Disaster thriller: 2012. these films inspire me because the films could relate to future events, these films show natural disasters taking place.
