i have choosen to look at 'Coraline'. The images caught my attention. it looks a little creepy and unstable. You can tell something is not right by the images on this sequence and the way the doll is being used. At the start the titles are bold lettering what looks asif the writting is field with loads of stitching from cotten. The way the titles flash out to the next one is effective. And the music starts kicking in. When the button flies in it shows effect to the sequence this you can tell is a important part to it. Due to the zoom on this button and the way it lands. More names appear and the sound starts getting a little more echoey as the names are flashing up. Once the screen goes black and we see the doll turning and flying in we then see some sort of hands pulling the doll towards the camera we start to wonder whats going on. More titles appear as the doll is being taken to a table where its then places onto some sort of fold out sewing kit. The sequence uses a extream zoom on the pin and the dolls back. Then we see some scissors cutting up the back of the doll and hear the cutting sound this shows a effect on the sequence and made me wonder what is happening to this doll. The pin hand starts undewing all the hair on the doll which at this time i started wondering why it was re-doing this doll up the way it was and why the pins where in shape of a pair of hands.Once again the camera goes for a extreme zoom on undewing the stitching and shows the little bits of cotton left on the dolls head.When the doll get turned upside down and turned inside out i was at first a little freeked, In the background you can hear in the music a little girl singing. with the slow motion effect on the doll being stitched up adds effect aswell. A Big draw of buttons come out and i from that know that it has to be a important part of the doll because the hand takes ages to decide what button to chose. we once again see a extream close up on the buttons being stitched onto the eyes. Once the machian finishes stitching the doll up we see it fly back out the window this shows me that the doll has had a massive change and that the buttons obviously play a important part in this film.When window shuts and we see a house i think that something bad will happen to do with this doll and the house that we see at the end of the sequence.

All the times the text come in at the start is the same with a black background fading into the writting however as the sequence goes on the text is white and on the side of the picture of the doll being recked then re-stitched.
