What have you learned about technologies from the process of constructing this product?
The technologies that i have learned from the construction of my video project consist of many different hardware to software. the hardware that i used consisted, Macintosh computer for editing purposes, a hard drive to upload all of our footage, a micro SD card reader, HD camcorder and digital camera. all of the hardware mentioned played a crucial role in the creation of the final product. The camcorder was need to record the footage, to save the footage you needed a micro SD card which fits into the camcorder, a card reader is needed for the footage in the SD card to be exported onto a computer, the computer which would be best for this type of job would be a mac as they have quick processing speeds, when all of the footage is being put into the computer it is saved on a hard drive (this contains everything). The user needs software to turn the footage into a title sequence, the software recommended for this task was Final Cut, Soundtrack Pro and Title Pro. All of the software stated have a specific role in the creation of the Title sequence, final cut was used to cut and merger different footage's together, Soundtrack Pro was used to make the scenes more dramatic by creating non diagetic music in the background and Title Pro was used for the creation of the titles and how they will be presented. All of the software's specifications merge together to make our film.
