EVALUATION: Question 7

Looking back at your preliminary task, what do you feel you have learned in the progression from it to the full product?

Looking back on the preliminary task we did, i feel that we progressed rather well. our full product was well thought out however the previous tasks that we had done had few errors for example in the match cut 'snap' that we did, we had some shots where the head was cut of and the main characters where not in the frame. Also the quality was poor, we had shots that where slightly blur where we didn't focus it properly. From our final product i learn t how to focus the camera properly, learn t new shots such as from a birds eye view, panning and shots from high and low views.

Firstly when i went to the mac suit i found it difficult to use! i was stuck at every point even when it come to copy and pasting, however now i know all you have to do is click 'ctrl' and then select the picture and click save as. All the programs we had to use such as 'Live Type', 'Sound track Pro' & 'Final Cut' i ended up mastering (In my own way of course). When we started planning we all was confused on where was best to place our movie first we come up with 'hackney' we then changed our mind due to the fact we thought the estates might just be a little bit to rough however then we thought 'tottenham' and we didn't see any thing that went right. We finally decided the 'canal' it was a good choice after all. It was only up the road so it was easy to get to and had perfect conditions for what we was aiming to get from this film.

When we started using the camcorder me and the group a
t first forgot to do the most simplest of things such as 'put the battery in' well now i know i got to do that first just the fact if i don't obviously would be no power! We all laughed it of when we thought about it. If Somebody gave me one of these camcorders a few months back with no instructions i would not have had no idea due to the fact of the amount of different buttons that control the different functions!

We had already done the feet idea from our match cut however from
both the pictures below you can tell how we had made great progress in making it look better
